Note: Probably filmed in the Pathe studio. Full titles read: “THIS BEAUTY BUSINESS - of Andre Charlot the famous Revue Producer-Manager of ’How d’you do ?’ at the Comedy Theatre London. Affectionally known to so many as ’Uncle Andre’.“ M/S’s of ’Uncle Andre seated at a table informing us what is required of pretty girls wishing to enter a ’London Chorus’. Andre says “they must dance like nightingales and sing like butterflies..., but they must also have a number of attractive features.“ Various C/U’s of young women with the features required e.g. C/U of the “pretty face of Joyce - good teeth to bite with, no wisdom yet.“ and the “the dreamy eyes of Peggy.“ L/S’s of three models displaying some elegant costumes.
