Walter Lindrum (1932)

Full titles read: “’How to make a Hundred Break’ at Billiards by Walter Lindrum. Although a hundred break is just like a miscue to Walter, to the amateur it’s a lot. Today, the wizard of the cue shows just how one may be made by plain, simple shots.“ London (probably Pathe Studio). Various shots, mostly high angle, of Billiards expert Walter Lindrum showing us how to make a hundred break - potting the balls over and over until he reaches 100 points. The referee calls out the score. When he has reached 100, a man off-camera asks Walter how you make a thousand break and he says “Just make nine more hundreds“. Followed (at 01:51:44) by intertitle trailer, telling us that next week’s Pathetone will include the famous Savoy Hotel Band and Frank Titterton, the Celebrated Tenor, with Alex Taylor at the organ.
