Strong Man (1928)

French story. Strongman performing various feats, tearing pack of playing cards in half, breaking glass bottle with his bare hands, laying on a bed of nails while four men stand on him. Includes C/U of nail marks in skin. The strongman wears a “gladiator“ style leather skirt affair and gladiator style boots. It is quite a good act - especially when the men stand on the board on top of him. He has a female assistant - his mother perhaps? French intertitles.
