Full title reads: “Pathetone now has pleasure in presenting. The Famous Illusionist. Jasper Maskelyne in one of his mystifying specialities“. Pathe Studios, London. Various shots of dapper looking Maskelyne on stage set. He delivers a comic monologue whilst performing trick. He picks up a razor blade and, to prove it is sharp, cuts some paper with it. He then proceeds to chew and swallow a box of blades on at a time. He then takes a length of string and swallows it like spaghetti. He then pulls string out of mouth with razor blades tied to it - magic?! Note: according to old record music is ’March of the Little Soldiers’ and ’Merry Go Round’ - De Wolfe.
