8,000 Kicks! (1939)

Titles read: “8,000 KICKS!“ London, probably Pathe Studio. Brief shots of cabaret dancer Veronica Evans having her legs pummelled by a trainer and being weighed. She then starts her attempt at breaking her own record of 7,000 high kicks. Several people sit at a desk behind Veronica and count as she kicks; they also record each kick on an adding machine. A little later we can hear electric fans trying to keep Veronica cool (looking quite hot after 1,000 kicks) and she is handed a sandwich by her coach. We can see her panties as she kicks her legs up. As she reaches the 7,000 mark, her trainer takes off her dress to show her satin bra and panties. She finally makes it to the 8,000 mark in a burst of quick kicks and does a few extra before collapsing into the arms of her trainer. The people at the desks cheer and run up to her.
