London (probably Pathe Studio), England
C/U of Professor Wully Lindsay in a dinner jacket, introducing one of the oldest entertainments known - shadowgraphy or shadows on the wall.
C/Us of the shadow pictures as the Professor shows us a rabbit, a parrot, a bull, an elephant, a deer, a cat, a swan and an old man smoking a pipe. Then he acts out a little pantomime with his hands, where a man and woman meet and talk (silent!), then move each other’s nose out of the way so they can kiss.
Duplicate exists in Turns Can 24 - see separate record for details.
