Full title reads: “Pathetone now has pleasure in presenting: Gerald Nodin, the celebrated baritone and popular broadcaster“.
Pathe Studios, London.
Set dressed to look like a country pub. Various shots of singer, Nodin, standing with one leg resting on a stool. On either side of him sit two country bumpkin types, smoking and drinking from beer tankards. Nodin sings a comic song - ’I Married a Wife’ (by F. D. Hunter). The song is about how his wife was “the plague of his life“ and that he wished he was single and laughed when she died. The country bumpkins nod in agreement.
