Titles read: ’“Let us Play“ - Any Zoo has a star turn when it collects lion cubs, and “let us play’ is the order of the day...’. San Diego, California, United States of America. Various shots of lion cubs in an enclosure at San Diego Zoo; their keeper is playing with them for the amusement of the watching crowd. The cubs play ’tug-of-war’ with a piece of rope; then the keeper swings one around on a piece of cloth. The cubs chase the keeper about, then are fed from bottles. A tiny cub (this one looks like a leopard or cheetah) comes face to face with a lion cub and takes a swipe at him, falling off the table as he does so. We then see several shots of a baby Walrus called Marie. She is washed with a hose and is fed milk from a bottle. FILM ID:1064.2 A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
