-Gong Culture of Southeast Asia- Ethnic Group: Co-Ho Date: 21 May 2017 Type: Flat Gongs / Ching Numbers: 6 Location: Lang Biang, Lac Duong town, Lam Dong province, Vietnam Cơ-Ho people, Mon-Khmer language group, live in southern part of the central highlands of Vietnam, such as Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan and Khanh Hoa. Co-Ho have a strong relationship with Malayo-Polynesian language group such as Ede, Raglai, Gia Rai(Jarai) and Chu Ru. Traditionally, the Co-Ho people lived in long-house (some are 20-30m long and 3-5m wide with the wooden floor) but today, they prefer small houses. In the family tradition, if a wife dies, a younger sister could be replaced as a second wife with the husband.
