Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov referenced George Orwell’s novel ‘Animal Farm’ while commenting on the rule-based order: ’All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.’ Lavrov added, ’If you dare to defend your national interests, you’ll be declared a pariah and sanctioned.’ He also stated that every Euro-Atlantic security arrangement has been based on ensuring US dominance.
