Angola Successfully Launched its Communication Satellite the Angosat

Angola successfully launched its communication satellite the Angosat from its launch pad in South America. After a five-year development and construction period, the Angosat has now entered into its operational phase. The satellite will provide telecommunications services to Angola and its neighbouring countries. This success marks the culmination of Angola’s efforts to upgrade its telecommunications infrastructure. Angosat is the country’s 15th satellite and the 18th in Africa.
