Schizophrenia Psychosis real patient video

Hi I’m Michelle and I have Schizophrenia. I record schizophrenia psychosis episodes on a security camera that I have set up in my apartment. I do this to show people that schizophrenia episodes are often non-violent. I am seriously on my couch talking to myself. Not hurting anyone and not being dangerous. I might make angry faces….but I am still only sitting on my couch. I’ve gotten a lot of comments that I am hurting my dog and I should give it away and that very hurtful. The real facts are dogs are good for people with schizophrenia because they offer unconditional love and companionship. They can provide comfort and reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. Dogs also help establish a routine and structure, which can be beneficial for managing symptoms. Owning a dog encourages social interaction and increases opportunities for socialization. Dogs require regular exercise, promoting physical activity that has positive effects on mental health. Additionally, dogs can help individuals regulate their emotions and provide comfort during times of distress. - Michelle Hammer IG: TikTok: @ TW: TH: @ #mentalhealth #schizophreniaawareness #schizophrenia #schizohphreniasupport #mentalhealthadvocate #schizoaffective #psychosisawareness #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthawareness #depressionawareness #anxietyawareness #psychology #psychologyfacts #qanda #shorts #shorts
