The Heckscher Museum of Art Superintendent’s Day Conference 2014

This presentation at The Heckscher Museum’s Superintendent’s Day Conference 2014 for K-12 art teachers showed how technology and the 21st-century skill of collaboration truly go hand-in-hand. “Long Island Biennial 2014“ exhibiting artist Dee Shapiro spoke “alongside“ artist Tullio DeSantis. Shapiro shared about her interdisciplinary creative process and was joined, via Skype, by DeSantis, who addressed how the two artists met through social media and have worked on numerous collaborative projects, including Shapiro’s “Tullio’s Offering“ on view through November 30 in the Museum’s “Long Island Biennial 2014“ exhibition.
