An online screening curated by Max Hattler for Seeing Sound symposium. This special programme presents 19 sound and music-driven abstract animation works made by students, graduates and faculty from School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong.
Relentless Melt is a Hong Kong-based society for abstract and experimental moving image which regularly presents screenings around Hong Kong and internationally including Taiwan, Germany, England, Austria, Denmark and the USA.
Seeing Sound is an informal practice-led symposium exploring multimedia work which foregrounds the relationship between sound and image. It explores areas such as visual music, abstract cinema, experimental animation, audiovisual performance and installation practice through paper sessions, screenings, performances and installations.
