NFL Hopeful Delvin Breaux Trying to Make Saints After Breaking Neck

Former highly recruited safety Delvin Breaux broke several vertebrae in his neck as a senior in high school after making a hit during a game in 2006. The injury was so severe, his doctor told him he should’ve been dead on the field. After years of rehab and a short stop at LSU, where he didn’t play a single snap, Breaux wound up playing for a few semi-pro teams and became a dominant cornerback in the Canadian Football League.
