The nearby fire, the Fly Fire being handled by the same incident command as Dixie Fire and will likely become the Dixie Complex in the coming days as the fires merge burned down multiple homes on Butterfly Valley Rd in Keddie, Ca where the fire first sparked. An investigation is underway limiting access to the road after multiple reports from residents of a PG&E owned transformer possibly ignited the fire. Shots of a large tree torching in the Dixie Fire near Lake Alamor where crews continue to battle the blaze and strengthen lines to protect thousands of threatened homes.
