Learn the English Phrases "as good as gold" and "to have a heart of gold"

Now this can be a phrase we use to talk about behavior, usually children’s behavior or just something that’s good again, here’s a couple of examples. When our kids were little, sometimes my sister would babysit for us. And when we came home, my sister would say, your kids were as good as gold all night. That means that the children behaved. They listened to her. They weren’t mean, they didn’t do anything bad. They were as good as gold. They were really good. Our kids were usually as good as gold. That’s not actually true. We also use this to talk about something that is whole again or good again.
