Barabar Caves Barabar Hills (Bihar) - India 2009 [HD]

Located in a dense and barren land 35 km north of Gaya the mysterious barrel-vaulted Barabar caves carved out of granite are the oldest surviving rock-cut caves in India dating back to 200 BC. Some had Asokan inscriptions. Sounds reverberate and sustain for seconds within the nonabsorbing walls. [also see Buddha In Cave Temple (unlisted): ]
