Paris Motor Show - 1926. France. Title (translation): After having admired the most recent models of the French auto builders; Doumergue climbs into his new 40CV Renault. Shot w/ car in FG w/ chauffeur waiting; President Doumergue & other VIPs emerge from building in BG; walk toward curb. Wider shot: crowd watches as car drives away; followed by almost identical vehicle. Another shot of the 2 cars driving in path cleared through crowd. Next; LS smaller automobile in street; man walks up to it and reaches in w/ his cane. CU tip of cane pushes accelerator pedal on floor of car which starts to move away as cane is withdrawn. Back to LS car slowly rolls away; then stops. Man walks after it & repeats the process; making the car roll farther away; then stop again.
