Love it or hate it, but after playing Gran Turismo 4 (which we assume almost all of us did at some point), everyone was intruiged by the Panoz. It looked strong, weird, fast, interesting and we all wanted to drive it. No one had ever heard from it, let alone seen it. Well, at Goodwood, we were presented with the unique chance to see the 1999 rendition of the car in real life, and in action on track.
The sound and power comes from a V8, located in the FRONT of the car, rather than right behind the driver. That choice came with a very interesting look and a very long nose (almost as long as a Jaguar E-Type). However, after reviewing the Panoz’ performance, we came to the conclusion that it was not at all a bad car. For having the classic V8, in the front of the car, using unconventional methods, the Panoz won its share of victories and gave others a good run for their money.
In that respect, even though this is a very short video, we thought the Panoz deserved to be on the channel separately. Share this video with anyone who ever played GT4!
Thank you very much for watching, and we’ll see you at the track!
