A dark fantasy story: The defeat in the vampire war has broken a considerable number of the dragons. Especially those who devoured the vampires and the demonic essences. They hate the vampires, the humans and themselves for their weakness. They are bitter monsters who have built their nests in the most remote parts of the world. In old industrial plants, in impenetrable swamps and caves that no human has ever entered. Some have taken the form of animals or are stranger creatures that have the forces of nature at their disposal. They are mostly solitary creatures. One of these creatures is the Horror of the Forest. It is primarily the protector of deer and stags, but also of trees. It hunts hunters. Follows them on their way home. Slaughters the children, mutilates the wife and whatever else he can get his hands on from the family. He gouges out the eyes of the hunter himself, cuts through his spine and hangs him alive from a tree at the edge of the forest as a warning to his fellow hunters.
