Quick Look: 25 Images to Celebrate Chandra’s 25th Anniversary

There are 25 new images for the 25th birthday of NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory. Each of these images contains data from this powerful X-ray telescope. Chandra was launched into space by the Space Shuttle Columbia on July 23, 1999. So far, Chandra has studied thousands of objects and made many ground-breaking discoveries. More at:
