REGENCY JEWELRY - Making a faux coral cross necklace and earrings
In this video I try to replicate the look of coral jewelry that was very popular in the regency era. I make a wirework and bead cross necklace and dangling earrings.
I use Czech glass beads in a small teardrop and an 8mm round bead and a 4mm metal bead. For my wire, I use 8mm and 6mm brass wire, round nose pliers, wire cutters and flat head pliers. For stringing the beads I used number 5 size natural silk thread and clear nail polish and an 8mm brass magnet lock. For the earrings, the smaller wire and gold pleated open end hooks.
