Tim Minchin - Lost Tapes - 2004 - Die Kabaret

Twenty years ago, I played two nights at a little space in Perth called The Camelot. I called the show Die Kabaret, and it was, appropriately, the last time I referred to my work as “cabaret”. A few months (and a hair straightening) later, I adjusted the show, called it “Dark Side”, and started referring to it as “comedy”. Right choice, in hindsight.
