Gretzky fights Neal Broten - his only NHL fight without gloves on caught on tape

Wayne Gretzky’s only career fighting major caught on tape. In a game between Edmonton Oilers and Minnesota North Stars on December 22, 1982. His opponent was Neal Broten. Gretzky’s fight was nothing special, Broten held back from giving a beating because he probably was afraid of retaliation. Even though The Great One was the instigator. Gretzky fighting happened rarely. This is probably the only time he received a fighting major penalty in the NHL.
