Pebble beaches and paths through wild nature, stone-paved streets amidst green maritime pines, and the unfailing magic of the sea are the scene on which the models, all Neapolitan, move, wearing hyper-feminine and timeless looks, day to night, inspired by the energy, light, and colours of this land amidst the Mediterranean waters. As if out of a myth, mermaid women, muses and nymphs are dressed in minute fantasies and floral flashes with plunging necklines, or in versatile, impalpable flounced caftans. The trompe-l’oeil effect creates fine perspective effects for the separates composed of shorts with brassieres, corolla skirts with blouses and maxi skirts with flounces, which look like one-piece dresses reinterpreted in a modern key. Mini, maxi or knee-length, fluid dresses and chemises are enriched with small ruffles and soft, gathered sleeves, a tribute to the forms of nature designed for every summer occasion: you can breathe in the air of holidays, on a boat as well as in the countryside. The “beach“ collection - which anticipates the forthcoming debut of the beachwear line - presents small pieces, swimming costumes, tailored hot pants, bustiers and sundresses in fresh two-tone Sangallo (finished with lace and ajour stitch in shades of coral or light blue), alternating with outfits in the same fabric but in deep blue. Underwear in tulle and soft jersey is also perfectly coordinated. Luisa Beccaria also declines the iconic “poppy“ print, made famous in the ’90s by an exceptional testimonial like Julia Roberts, playing with the colors and weights of the fabrics. The lightness of organza, chiffon and gauze is contrasted with vigorous linen or the absolute comfort of stretch cotton. The prints, which come from the archives, explode in a symphony of flowers: micro and macro poppies, but also floral stripes, mini-fantasies and roses that break up to form new figures.
