Recording the Arturia Microfreak on a modded Tape Recorder - Ambient LoFi - Lostsense
Hey guys. Today I used my DIY speed control modded tape recorder to record some ambient sounds on it and then playing it back with reverb and playing around with the speed control. Makes some pretty nice sounds.
The already LoFi sounding MicroFreak Patch which essentially is just the FM- Algorithm with long Cycling Envelope modulating the Feedback and a sample and hold LFO modulating the pitch a tiny bit. For a lush pad sound I used the Envelope to Shape the Filter’s cutoff.
The Tape Recorder is just a cheap one I found online. I think it cost around 20-25 euros.
Anyway, I hope you liked todays video. If so, please consider subscribing my channel and liking the video. It is free and of corse you can always change your mind. With that being said I wish you a nice day! Cheers :)
