Would You Believe It? No. 1 (1933)

Titles read: “Would you believe it? No. 1 Queer things the world over, Described by CHARLES EADE.“ Various locations of events. Several shots of an unfinished castle that was built single-handed by a man in the United States of America. Unfortunately, after working on the building for 15 years the man died (not sure if his death was related to his building work). In the Bayswater Road, London, we see various shots of Number 10, the smallest house in world, that is sandwiched in between two mansion houses. A young boy stands at the door. Charles Eade tells us the house is 18 feet high, 14 feet deep and 60 inches wide. At Lancaster Gate in London we see shots of the front of a smart house, complete with windows and doors. The view from the other side shows that this is just a facade - the underground passes behind the frontage and the fake house covers up the unsightly tube line and tunnel. Various shots of a collection of odd-shaped roots that a man has collected over a period of 10 years.
