Full title reads: “Now Pathe Pictorial presents another Radio favourite Joseph Farrington the famous Bass-Baritone in “Glorious Devon“.
Joseph stands beside the piano and sings a song about Devon. Shots of him singing are intercut with scenic shots of Devon countryside, seascapes and housing. Nice montage of classic British countryside material - includes a model boat for some reason. Shots of countryside from a boat, holidaymakers, coastline etc. Little girl picks apples from a tree.
Extreme C/U of an apple, a hand enters the shot and pulls half of the apple away revealing a cross section of the core. Superimposed onto the apple are various shots of Devon - very arty! Fishing boat shots, coal being delivered by donkey, harbours, seagulls etc.
