Speedy Comet C2018 Y1 Iwamoto Coming Our Way

There is a fast-moving comet heading towards the Sun and the Earth’s vicinity. Discovered by Japanese astronomer, Masayuki Iwamoto, the speedy comet, C/2018 Y1 Iwamoto will be closest to the Earth around February 11-12, 2019, passing us by at approximately 28 million miles. When comet Iwamoto approaches Earth, it will be near the constellation Leo, late in the evening. At that time the comet will be travelling at an amazing speed of 148,000 mph. TNC:
