Bobby dropped a majority decision to Robinson in a bout that showed but brief spurts of action. Robinson, who came in at 157 to Dykes’ 147 1/2, gave his lighter opponent a boxing lesson. Dykes stayed away from the infighting as much as possible, learning early in the contest that he could not cope with the ring-wise Robinson. Instead, Bobby hooked with his left and bored in whenever the opportunity presented itself.
