LYRICS: HUANG TINGJIAN (SONG DYNASTY) COMPOSITION/SINGING: DU KUN MUSIC PRODUCER: CHEN XIAOMU ANIMATION PRODUCTION: XIAO YI The poetry of the Northern Song Dynasty poet Huang Tingjian, “NIAN NUJIAO, BROKEN RAINBOW AFTER THE RAIN“, describes the beautiful landscape, which he and his friends visiting Zhangyuan in the autumn night. I composed a melody for this ancient lyrics and made it into a song. Then I drew the sound waveform of this song into a landscape drawing, trying to describe the mood of the lyrics. Every sawtooth of this waveform in this artwork has an exact correspondence according to the song. The woods are accompaniment, and the light color rockeries are the lyrics I sing. There is a red seal in the drawing that is a QR code, people can watch the MV of this song combined with this drawing by scanning it with your mobile phone.
