My life worth nothing to me Luke 14:26 If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters--yes, even their own life--such a person cannot be my disciple. As we examine our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ words to the people 2,000 years ago we see a truth that is still evident for us as Believers today. Jesus spoke 2000 years ago about the cost of being a disciple the cost of being a Christian and just like when you and I enter into a department store today we see some items that maybe we are willing to pay for and to buy and we see some items that because of the cost we are not willing to pay for. so it is with Christianity some people are willing to pay the cost to be a Christian some people are not willing to pay the cost to be a Christian my prayer for each of you reading these words may you and I be willing to pay the cost to be a follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
