Ukraine: Poroshenko pays tribute to victims of Holodomor famine

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko paid tribute to the millions of victims of the 1932 and 1933 Holodomor famine at the Mykhailivska Square in Kiev, Saturday, marking remembrance day for the millions who starved to death. The President was joined by his wife as they both laid a wreath in memory of those who suffered during one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes of Ukrainian history.
