Freshwater Planted Community Aquarium. Post Cut-back Look. Going for another ugly phase.

Freshwater Planted Community Aquarium post maintainance. I just removed a significant amount of rooted plants and disturbed the substrate which hadn’t been for more than 1.5 years. Compared to just some weeks before look, it’s looking really unsightly for now. Hoping it will look better later. Some fish look to have some white stuff around themselves after the maintainance. Just some thing to expect when disturbing a tank ecosystem.
