Hildur Guðnadóttir solo (pt 2) @ VOX, Maldegem, Belgium 13. February 2010

Icelandic cellist & composer Hildur Guðnadóttir played a solo gig @ VOX venue, Maldegem, Belgium on Saturday evening 13. February 2010. Her first solo album “Mount A“ was released under the artist name Lost in the Hildurness on Icelandic record label 12 Tónar in 2006. Guðnadóttir is a member of Storsveit Nix Noltes (The Nix Noltes Big Band), a band playing traditional Bulgarian & Greek dance music. Guðnadóttir played and recorded with múm, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Skúli Sverrisson, Hilmar Jensson, Hafler Trio, Nico Muhly, Valgeir Sigurdsson, Ben Frost and Stilluppsteypa. Her 2nd album “Without sinking“ was released last year on Touch Music label.
