Hard-line Islamic group continues anti-France protests in Bangladesh
Bangladesh police blocked a march led by Islamist group Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh on Monday as they planned to lay siege to French embassy in Dhaka.
Thousands of activists of the hard-line Islamist group took to the streets in the morning protesting at French president Emmanuel Macron’s recent remarks about Islam.
They chanted slogans against the French president saying that Macron’s remark was an insult to Prophet Muhammad and Islam.
Hefazat began the march from Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at Purana
