I thought this was just a conventional mug, until I poured hot water into it.
Suffice to say, I quickly found out that it has a thermochromic coating. As a result, it changes colour when it gets hot.
It’s a simple thing, but quite entertaining to watch. If left long enough the whole mug turns white, and then it will gradually fade back to its original colour as it cools.
I won’t be drinking from it again though, it smells very strongly of chemicals and makes everything taste a bit odd.
