Al Martino performs his hit “Volare“ in this rare music video, filmed in the Italian Alps in 1976. This renditon of “Volare“ climbed to Number 1 on the disco charts in France, Germany and Italy. Recorded in the early days of the disco music genre, this pioneering video was produced by Mike Curb, who is now recording Tim McCraw, Faith Hill, Wynona and many other Nashville country music superstars. For his performance on this and other music videos, Al was given the “Jackie O “ award in Rome, Italy.
