TOOM Episode 1 Playthrough (ACTUAL TempleOS Doom, no fakes, no external libraries)

This is a playthrough of TempleOS Doom using vmware. This is 100% HolyC code. You can find the source code here: The only thing I changed on my copy was I changed the shareware IWAD to the retail IWAD. That’s why instead of Terry Davis’s face you see Doomguy’s face. This is obviously not the prettiest way of playing Doom, nor does it have the best version of the soundtrack but this is once again done entirely within TempleOS’s limits. There is no cheating with 3rd party libraries and this isn’t some guy throwing normal Doom footage through a video editor and reducing the color palette to 16-color dithering. No offense to Alec Murphy but also besides using no 3rd party libraries, this version also doesn’t crush. This makes this version of TempleOS Doom also the most stable available and it makes it probably the best platform for fps gaming on TempleOS (you can load other WADs like FreeDoom for example and it’s even included in the github).
