They wear overalls. “Poultry farming is a business which any intelligent woman can make into a successful scientific and paying occupation.“ M/S of girls sitting on benches in the open air having a lesson. Woman stands in front of the group with a chicken in her arms. M/S of the girls at work. One is sawing a piece of wood, others are cleaning cages. L/S of the girls pushing wheelbarrows through a farmyard, a pond is seen in the foreground - quite a picturesque scene. C/U of two girls with a tray of chicks. One of the girls holds a chick in her hand. “Super productions - just released!“ C/U of chicks hatching from eggs. C/U of chicks moving around in eggshells. “Seven-day old Citizens of the farm.“ Woman sits beside a pen full of baby chicks. The chicks spill out of a door in the side of the pen.
