Item title reads - “The Torpedoplane“ first British seaplane capable of carrying and launching 1500 pound naval torpedo - successfully tried out. Brough, near Hull. M/S of the seaplane with people stood around, the camera pans across it. C/U of the torpedo from various angles. Men pull the seaplane along towards the water. M/S of it gliding along the top of the water, the camera follows it as it takes off. M/S as it comes towards the camera, people take photographs as it releases the torpedo which bounces along the water. Intertitle - ’a slow motion snap!’ Slow motion M/S as the torpedo is released and bounces with a big splash. M/S of the seaplane coming to a stop on the sea.
