M/S of people sitting on the ground in the sun beside the River Thames. Not clear where this is set. It could be beside the Serpentine although it looks too wide. Various shots of people splashing in the water at this London Lido. Girls laugh, wave, pose, etc. Dissolves are used to link shots of families, friends, children enjoying the sun and the bathing. Swimmers dive into the river from a small wooden diving board. C/U of a girl fastening her shoe - she is wearing a swimsuit and swimming hat. M/S of a girl sitting on wooden boards next to the water with her dog beside her. L/S of a large number of bathers standing in front of a building with a clock on top - not recognised by this cataloguer. Was an item in Eve’s Film Review issue number 523.
