Intertitle: “HISTORICAL MUSICAL RIDE by 3rd King’s Own Hussars, in costumes of every period since 1685“.
M/S of two rows of Hussars riding in different directions, the row riding towards the camera appear to be dressed as cavaliers, the row riding away from the camera look like soldiers from the nineteenth century. The two rows stop and their horses do a do-si-do so the cavaliers swap sides with the old fashioned soldiers. M/S of the horses ’dancing’ - each cavalier horse stands close to a soldier horse (as if they were dance partners) and they seem to waltz around the field. L/S of four rows of horse riding in formation creating the spokes of a wheel - like a sort of equestrian Busby Berkley routine.
Panning shot of horseback soldiers dressed in old fashioned uniforms from across the ages, three boy scouts can be seen admiring one of the riders and his horse. More shots of the horses riding in formation - very similar to chorus line routines.
