Push Ball Fort Bliss Aka Putting Pep In Their Push (1920)

American troops at Fort Bliss on the Mexican border play push ball. Full title reads: “Putting ’pep’ in their push - American troops on the Mexican border enjoy frequent games of push ball.“ L/S Mass of American troops at Fort Bliss surround a huge balloon type ball and try to keep it airborne by pushing upwards with their hands (It looks like great fun!). The camera pans right as the troops and the ball do the same. A dog in the foreground runs from left to right wagging it’s tail enthusiastically trying to get in on the action. M/S The large ball is still being supported in the air, however one of the troops is now on the very top of the ball! The ball is bounced up and down frequently, inevitably the soldier slips and falls off. FILM ID:204.2 A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
