“Now THIS is a knife!“ This beast of a blade is essentially a copy of the folding bowie knife used by Paul Hogan in “Crocodile Dundee Goes to Los Angeles“, and perhaps somewhat of a copy of the Spanish navaja. The Timber Rattler Scarab Back Lockback (even the NAME is long!) is a monstrosity that seems to have very little practical use, yet it still has a strange degree of awesomeness for it ... especially for only being $. Call it a “poor man’s Cold Steel Espada XL“ if you like. For as cheap as these are, I’m sure it wouldn’t break anyone’s heart if someone were to cut, drill, and grind on one of these to add a “wave“ opening device to the blade and a pocket clip to the side, which would certainly make this much more practical as a concealed-carry defensive option, although it still is not going to be anywhere near as strong or durable as a Cold Steel knife.
