Forging Hawkeye’s/Ronin’s Katana from Avengers End Game

This is by far the longest blade I have forged. The finished length is 36“. I set out to make a replica of the sword used by Hawkeye in the Avengers End Game movie and the Ronin Sword from the Hawkeye series. I’m super happy with the end result but it definitely has some differences from the shows. Originally my blade was straight but it took on the curve after I had cut the slots and heated it up but I liked the result and decided to go with it. I chose to make the handle out of wood rather than metal and give it a more traditional katana wrap. It took about 8 weeks in total to complete.
