Minema mod — how to record smooth videos in Minecraft

Hello there! My name is McHorse, and welcome to Minema mod overview video. In this video, I’ll show you how to install, configure and use Minema mod. Minema mod is a Minecraft Forge mod which allows you to record videos/sequences of images within Minecraft. Originally made by BarracudaATA, and currently maintained by daipenger/Gregosteros. In comparison to screen recording software, Minema slows down the game engine to capture every frame. This results into smooth footage, which means, that if you have a potato PC, or you use high end shaders with high render distance, you’ll still get stable FPS video, but at the cost of render time. Minema is only effective in singleplayer or with a server that has Minema ( ) mod installed. It’s not very effective for gameplay videos or any sort of real time videos. However, it’s perfect for cinematic videos. You can use BauerCam or Aperture with Minema, for camera paths. Blockbuster’s body actors are also compatible with Minema. Some mods that use real time animation (which messes up with Minema’s recording) is MalisisDoors, PixelCam and CMDCam. Let me know, if you know more.
