The exclusive mechanical timepieces by A. Lange & Söhne are crafted from precious materials with the utmost artisanal skill and only in small editions. They are guardians of a horological culture that is handed down from generation to generation and that began in 1845, when Ferdinand A. Lange founded his watch manufactory in Glashütte, Saxony. After the German reunification, his great-grandson Walter Lange refounded the manufactory after its expropriation in the late 1940s. Ferdinand A. Lange’s ambition to define benchmarks with timepieces from the manufactory is still reflected in every single Lange watch.
