SWAY By Steve Pointmeier

A modern day take on a drifters tale... The story of how “Our Guy“ in the video, “Sways“ through his life. Never settling down or staying in any one place for too long. As if the incessant urge nagging at him in the back of his mind is calling out to “ Dont stop here, your almost where you need to be“. In some sort of mantra to life. Our guy knows he’s missing out, never holding on to the people who help us ’Mark time’ having been there for the past, and thus having to retell the tales of past and not really living in the now or for the future. But alas, were all made differently, and if this song speaks to you either in a direct “Thats how my life is going“ way, or whether it draws a comparison to your own “Stable way of life“, I hope you enjoy the Story of ’Sway’ told within the song and through the very talented videographer (Laurie Hart of Pictures UP Media’s) video. Written by longtime friend and Co Musician’s Clayton Bellamy and Steve Fox in 2007. It was during a conversation with Clayton, 2 days before i was to go back into the studio to record 2 other songs, wherein I asked Clayton if he had any songs he may want ME to record? A couple hours later I had received the acoustical version of what is now ’Sway’ via email, and after listening to it, i knew i had to record it and add it to the stable of songs i am proud to call my own repertoire. Recorded at Bart McKay Studio’s in Saskatoon SK, Canada. Video by : Laurie Hart of Pictures UP Media, Calgary AB, Canada.
